Architecture and Construction Response
My two careers I researched for the Architecture and Construction cluster are an Interior Designer and an Architectural Drafter. These two careers are similar because both jobs prepare designs and plans determining the layout of building whether it be inside or outside the building. They both have to be able to get along with the clients and have the clients needs in mind. Both careers require coordination and you need to be able to pay attention to detail. You also need to be dependable. Your clients depend on you to get what they ask and want done. These careers are different because an Interior designer designs and furnishes interiors of building. They have to coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and plumbers. An Architectural Drafter prepares detailed drawings of design plans for buildings and structures according to what the architect wants. Students have just finished researching the Architecture and Construction career cluster. I'm curious to know how the two careers they looked at are similar and how they are different. I'm also interested to know if either of those two careers relate in any way to their chosen career. It should be interesting to read their posts!
